About Us
We are a movement rooted in love, responsibility, accountability and action. Founded by African Diasporians, our nonprofit exists because it’s time to stop talking about it and start being about it!
We believe that our future must be built 'By Us, For Us' — through hospitals that heal, schools that inspire, technology that empowers, and environments that sustain life.
Every project we support is guided by dignity, community leadership, and long-term impact. This is more than charity; it’s ownership, unity, and a shared commitment to building the future our people deserve.

Our Active Founders.
We are a movement of action.
In October 2025, we answered the call and traveled to Burkina Faso — not to observe, but to build. In just 'four months', we launched a tech hub now operating and hiring, began cleaning plastic waste, and initiated plans to rebuild two hospitals with teams and contractors already on the ground - all with our own out of pocket funding.
That's when we decided to create our own non-profit to allow the Diaspora to assist and help support our work with whatever they can financially contribute.
We believe real change happens when we move beyond conversation and commit to ownership and execution. This is By Us, For Us — uniting the African Diaspora to build lasting infrastructure, opportunity, and dignity across Africa, America, and the Caribbean.
We don’t just imagine a better future. We plan it. We build it. With the Diaspora's help we can build Broader & Faster!!!
...And we are just getting started!

Sheff Morrison - Atlanta

Sheff Morrison, a Philadelphia native now based in Atlanta, is a digital media veteran with over 20 years of experience and founder of a leading Atlanta media company. What began as media coverage in Burkina Faso became a calling. Through the lens of his camera, he witnessed both the challenges and the undeniable strength of our people — and chose not to just document history, but help shape it. What he saw compelled him to put boots on the ground and commit to creating REAL, lasting change in our community.

Caline Pascale Tchebou-Tsilimparis - NY

Caline has spent 14 years as a head nurse in NYC. She has seen the miracle of birth, but she has also seen the nightmare of neglect.
Caline has witnessed the harsh reality of maternal healthcare in underserved communities, from the streets of America to villages abroad.
Now Caline is done talking. Just like the others, she headed to Burkina Faso when called, she met others that thought and spoke like she did and wanted to make a real difference immediately...
She found her tribe—a crew of "Action Now" believers—they all came together and founded
The Diaspora Fund; to create the sustainable change she always knew was possible.
This is her moment to move from empathy to action.
Founding Member / Planning & Construction
Oladapo Sulu - London

Oladapo Sulu is one of the owner of Kaidy Engineering
and Environmental Services Ltd (Kaidy Engineering) is a UK-based multi-disciplinary civil engineering construction, consulting, and real-estate management company.
Like the other founders Oladapo headed to Burkina to head the call and saw so much work that needed to be done on the ground there and throughout the diaspora. Once he started speaking with those that thought like he did..."Something must be done, NOW" and found that these others were just as passionate, organized, professionals not just chammering away at the mouth but putting real actionable steps into play, he knew he had to be a part of it. Oladapo provides the construction knowledge on how to get the hard work done, the equipment and team to get it done.
- This is how we're able to move so quickly 😊
